or an old S class - W126 would be great.

Mk3 Golf VR6, in my opinion the 2.8 V6 lump is the best engine VW have made. Squeezing it into a Golf; some car!!

I would love to see the boys do these:

Saab 92 (or 96) two-stroke done Rally Monte Carlo-style. With the mandatory searchlight on the roof!

Volvo Amazon, (Estates are cool, but if so: Completely original since they are too rare to mess with.) now, THAT is a motoring icon. The prettiest thing ever to come out of Sweden except for the women...

Renault 4, because it is just such a lovely little thing with it´s IKEA-like interior and esthaetically challenged exterior...

Fiat Ritmo Abarth (?? or whatever they were called in the UK). Why? Because you can! They must be el cheapo by now... Plus, you´ve done a German hot hatch, and a french one. Italy next!

91-94 Mercedes W 124 Estate, non-diesel. preferably a 230, since they are everywhere, reasonably priced, and just rock solid engines.

Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45 or FJ57. Or a HJ (diesel) version. Or even a 70 series, not prado. Those whose lifes depend upon the raliability of their terrain vehicle (and cannot carry a mechanic and plenty of spare parts into the bush) mostly seem to choose the Land Cruiser over the Land Rover...
