That is so fake! Those diamonds weren't in their natural form and already cut! They were planted.

Diamonds need extremely high pressures & temperatures in order to form - neither of which are available in even an industrial grade microwave oven.

bit of a problem with the recipe to! wonder what colour those 'diamonds' would turn out with all the contaminants present?

and why are they being so careful in looking for the hardest known substance? not very likely they would damage em when you consider how they are mined!

Diamonds CAN be manufactured, generally they're mainly of industrial grade, but it is possible to make gem grade too - just not the way described in the first post.

Lensman is correct. Diamonds, Rubys and Saphires and made every day... GE is one of the largest diamond manufactures in the world. Plant is in Columbus, Ohio. Been there and saw it being done. I sawed and cored concrete for a number of years.. Cant tell you how many pounds of diamonds we used in a year... And yes GE can and did make gem quality stones there at one time.. They got busted for selling synthetic stones as naturial... If you dont believe me Google it... It's there..
