Well, so many myths here seemed to be done wrong. To start with a few, I was disappointed they called the breaking a lock with liquid nitrogen confirmed. It took five minutes to break it as standard, and four minutes to freeze it, then 15 seconds to break, that to me, looks plausible.

It's the same amount of time, you'd be better off spent hitting it with a hammer, though the myth was confirmed in a way.

Next up which annoyed me was exploding water heater, where they supposedly made a two storey house. I don't know how it's done in america, but a basement isn't a storey to me. It should of been basement, floor above it, second floor above that, with the roof touching the top of the second floor, no attic space.

Also the car roof/box myth, again I was utterly shocked at how they conducted it. Granted the rig was for safety, but as I saw it, when Jaime was on the car roof, the structure stopped any boxes that would of hit Jaime from doing so, and it sat so low that any boxes that rolled down the side of the car didn't reach him anyway.

It basically acted as a shield, voiding that part of the myth for me.

Well, sorry for the long rant, but tonights episode did seem riddled with faults and mistakes, etc. Feel free to discuss/tell me I'm wrong. Razzer

The lock pick, it didnt take 5 minutes to break it, they didnt break it at all, they gave up because the bunker broke.

In my house, if the water heater exploded in that manner it would be going through the same amount of floors as it was in that experiment. They keep saying, "in your basement" however, and because I am not from america, I am not sure whether they actually do have them, in the floor below ground. If so then yes I agree that experiment wasnt fully valid.

With the snowplow, at those speeds, I doubt a wider wedge would of made any difference. That was purely to show the results, NOT to test it again, when do you ever see snowplows going 500 mph. (Glad to see you at least edited one thing out :P)

With the boxes, I doubt some flimsy cardboard would overcome the friction your body is having on the roof of the car. Whilst many were blocked, I am pretty sure some did hit Jamie.

The episode was fantastic in my eyes.

Yeah I realised that bit about the snow plow after I'd typed it, so went and edited it out without realising you'd posted a response. Razzer

Ref the frozen lock: The thing about smashing your way in is that you have been making a loud racket for five mins! this will draw attention, a couple of bangs and no one notices....

With regards to the water heater the this was losing so much momentum by the time it went through the roof, if reckon one more floor would have been the end of the road, plus am I right in thinking that there were no ceilings in that rig they built? just open joists?

I do like the mythbusters, great entertainment!
