Is true the myth that if you fill a transparent plastic bag with water and you hang it for example in the kitchen then the flies don't go near??
It's a common myth in Mexico

It is plausible. I know black flies avoid stale standing water and water pollutions. That would also mean that you're getting rid of some flies, but leaving mucky water about. That would bring other insects around, and mildew for your kitchen. You'd be better off getting a good fan, and avoiding the dark colours they are attracted to.

or white i like bug zappers i like seeing flies burn it is fun but u don't want t light coulers cuase bugs r atracted to that to
