it seems that the japanese have been able to counter all tactics that the sea shepards have tried so far. as a rule, the escalation of events is inevitable. It is obvious that the acid bottles were an efficient means of attack if the japanese were able to create a deterrant, (the netting). why not use the whalers tactics against them, instead of throwing the acid, perhaps use a high pressure hose to deliver it, this would render the netting useless.
the prop fouling seems to be less effective, if the shepards could figure out how to better deploy the fouling line than the whalers would have to come up with a defense for that too. and now the whalers have the acoustic device that will be countered in due time. the whalers have escalated their tactics to include bodily injury, so should the sea shepards return the favor? frank |
