How exactly does one fish in a shed?
Most fishing equipment is so expensive that you wouldn't even store it in a shed.
My point - why is there so much fishing on the shed channel. Surely the shed channel is the ideal forum for DIY type programs.

I think it's more the philosophy of what a 'shed' is to a someone.
More a place that they can immerse themselves in, and emerge on the other side with all sorts of ideas, grown produce, science experiments, and commercial products. The 'Shed' was the 'getaway place' to saw bits of wood, way into the night, to store gardening equipment, fishing gear and hide from the missus and bad TV. It's a place to procrastinate, be inspired and give back a little time for creative freedom from a hectic world...

Fishing is one of the main hobbies chosen by men and women to achieve this harmony. Don't get me wrong I think there is lots of other hobbies out there that could be for more interesting viewing. But I guess Discovery have to try to plan their schedule and build their programming around viewers requests or they simply wouldn't have any!

So I think you have a good point but maybe put it the wrong way. I would have been positive about the channel and suggested some ideas and became a creative voice reather than just a negative protester.

I never store my fishing gear in a shed it is too expensive. Insurance companies are very picky about gear thefts from sheds.

Discovery Shed is just a leble for peole who are shed inclined and what they want to see on this channel.

I would like to see scale plastic kit modelling. Military figure painting.

Stuff like that.
