i love to get tattoos and even though i only have four i dont regret any i have. I would love to get a half or even a full sleeve or even tattoo at the top of my arm continuing onto my shoulder but many people keep saying it may look a mess or out of place if i decide to get married or when im older. I jus wondered on what other peoples views are on positioning of tattoos is it better to have them so they can be covered or do they look good on show???

thanx....jess x Confused

It is completely personal where you want to place a tattoo, dont let anyone tell you otherwise. If you got the money to get a full sleeve, go for it man, I salute you, and... If we all hesitated to do things because we were afraid what others would think, or how it would look in 30 years, the world would be a sad and boring place.

Im pleased you dont regret any of your work so far. I think sleeves on females can look amazing but its a bold statement far more then if a guy gets a sleeve. I know its harsh but it is what it is peoples perceptions are very difficult to change. If you want a sleeve then get a sleeve just pay due attention to the ramifications, yes it may effect your work and future job opportunities this is something you just have to accept im afraid.
