Tocsacarlos,

I don't know when the DVD for season 2 comes out in the UK for sure, but they have just come out in the US, so I would think it shouldn't be too long for you now.

Since the new season always starts before they do here in the USA, I would think that your DVD release should be before ours or at least close behind.

You may want to check with Discovery and find out for sure though.

And there is still no confirmed date on the new season yet in either country. The best we have heard is this summer.

Quote from Wiki

"Meerkat Manor is a television series made by Animal Planet that presents the daily activities of a family, or mob, of wild meerkats. The meerkats are the subject of a ten-year study by Cambridge University. Although the show has elements of a documentary, and is based on actual events, the narrative is presented in a style similar to a soap opera. The show is narrated by Bill Nighy in the UK and Canada, Mike Goldman in Australia, and Sean Astin in the USA. The series was originally shown in the UK, and is its primary home, but was picked up in Australia, Canada and the United States, and is now a worldwide hit.

The show is currently in production for its third season of 13 episodes; as of April 2007 the second season is being shown in the UK on BBC 2" on Saturdays and sundays.

The TV series is focused on one group of Meerkats called the Whiskers, Lead by the dominant female Flower, (Series 1 and 2) and the dominant male Zaphod. It shows every aspect of their lives, The Good, The Bad and the worse!

If you watch it you will get hooked, just like us!!!!

Need anymore help just ask Smiler

i saw on a site that a biologist saw a meerkat from outside the resurve which was the same size and looked like shakespeare. The biologists said he became dominant in a unhabituated group outside our reserve but they cant say for certain.

I'd heard that as well. I'd also heard that the people doing the study are trying to get permission to check that group to see if it is Shakespeare (here's hoping)
