I've wandered onto this messageboard because I couldn't find much info on why Discovery Kids has been canned!! My lads are gutted, it was one of their fav channels. There was loads of quality programming on the channel; The Big Bang, Timeblazers, Steve Irwin, Scientrific, Mystery Hunters, etc, etc. I know the kids TV market seems saturated but DK offered something unique. I just can't understand the decision and it seems to have been replaced by Discovery Turbo. What's that??? Email me if anybody knows who I/we might be able to email at Discovery because I can't find any email addresses to make my feelings know. There a quite a few that are annoyed but we don't know who to contact. The channel just disappeared from my TV without any notice!! We're all still gutted!!!

Question:
Bring back Discovery Kids to our TV screens?

Choices:
Yes
No

Just registered to join the poll-my 9 year old and his friends are so disappointed that it disappeared with no warning - now my home is doomed to endless SpongeBob and Avatar drivel!

I've read endless posts wanting it back but none supporting its being cancelled.

I loved DK!!!
I always watched it on a morning but my sister thought it was pants and kept turning on to the annoying spongebob squarepants, zack and cody and ed edd and eddy!!!
Dr Dog and Mega Mutt, Kenny the Shark and Mystery Hunters were so cool!

I may not have watched it, but by the sound of it, it was great education oppetunities for children and above. I think they should return it aswell.

Well yes i had also heard about this. But it was a good show and really very helpful to kids. Actually kids have to watch such kind of shows so that they may increase there knowledge. But there should be a good parental control on all kids activities so that there wrong activities can be controlled...

Please bring back D-Kids or at least some of the children animal programs like Henry's Amazing Animals etc...This is a huge disappointment for my 6 year old daughter and with doing other searches on the internet for Henry's Amazing Animals and where it went I see that a lot more parents feel this way too. What do we need to do to get this stuff back on the air. Discovery, please answer us ! Confused
