I recently watched the story about Christianne (hope the spellings right) and her lovely fiance and was touched and felt compeled to write. I watched as this poor young Mother read awful and inhumane messages posted on the web and was devastated for her. I saw their beautiful baby and fell instantly in love, she is an absolute blessing, regardless of how tall she grows she (like all babies) is a gift and (esp in this case) a miracle. Jeremy clearly loves them both and although they will struggle even more than most young parents they will be happy, wonderful, loving parents for their beautiful little daughter. Good on you guys, I wish you all the luck and happiness in the world!!

I too watched the story about Christianne and her family on Tuesday night, channel 7. Im writting in the hopes Christianne will read this and know there are kind and decent people out there who dont judge her for a condition she has no control over. I found your story inspirational and I was touched by the love and support you have around you girl, in alot of ways you should consider yourself extreamly blessed. You have a loving family and a beautiful little baby! She is an absolute inspiration and I am overwhelmed at how happy, joyful and wonderful Christianne and her family are. For people to say horrible things about Christianne and her family is just disgusting and they have nothing better to do with their time. I am also one of the many who seen the episode of my shocking stories about Christianne! I was so upset and angry when I heard Christianne read some of the things that had been written about her and her gorgeous family on the internet and I just wanted to let Christianne know (hopefully she reads this) that there are alot more people out there that where moved and truly touched by your story then just the select few that have nothing better to do with their times then to critise someone for being different! I think that Christianne is a gorgeous person who is doing such a wonderful job with her little girl and her partner is just truly a wonderful guy for everything that he does for his family. Not many 19 year old men would be willing to do the things he does! They both truly deserve the best in life and so does that little babygirl and I don't think she could be raised by better people! and Christianne if you do read this, just remember that people only hate you because they are jealous of you! Those people only say those horrible things because even though you do have physical challanges you are very loved and you overcome it all so well! All the best to you and your family and good luck with the future and with any more children that you have, I know it's going to be tough for you but it's all worth it in the end!

I just want to say this show has inspired me greatly! I think Christianne is an amazing person with an awesome spirit. I love how she is strong hearted, and nothing can bring her down especially in the part where she reads all of those horrific messages that stupid people wrote to her. How could someone say those things to her?! People like that are extremely insecure and just straight up wrong. I envy Christianne for everything she has gone through. I do not think I would be able to do what she has accomplished. She freakin had a baby! Thats amazing! I would do the same thing if I was in her spot. I think what she and her fiance Jeremey have is incredible. That is REAL love that people dream about and they get to live it! That is just unbelievable to me and I hope they have the best life with their daughter. Oh and another thing, I really hate when people talk smack about people when they do not even know what it is like themselves. Seriously, it must be extremely difficult to be a little person. I strongly admire their free spirit and how they get through life with people always staring at them as if they were a whole new species. I just think thats extremely disrespectful and just plain out mean. We are all the same but also unique and unique is good! We all have something we have to live with! So people need to stop with the negative comments about her story because honestly she is the most inspiring person to me. Yes I do agree people are jealous for what she has. She has a beautiful baby and an amazing husband that would do anything for her. You can't get that everyday. I wish them the best of luck and the best wedding a girl could ever have! I know Christianne is going to look beautiful in her perfect wedding dress! Don't ever change for anyone, you are perfect just the way you are Christianne! You are truly an amazing person!

When I watched that episode and saw you read those comments i was disgusted. I married a normal sized man who had normal sized parents who had a little daughter. She is my sister in law my kids aunt and we love her very much. I hope you read these comments and realize how lucky and wonderful your family is. That baby is lucky to have both her mom and her dad. You will all be in my prayers. And forget those stupid comments from stupid people.

Good on Christianne and her fiance. They deserve all the happiness in the world and deserve nothing more than to be treated as equals in society.
The comments made by people slandering their relationship were uncalled for and very insensitive.

However comments made in the program by the narrator about their daughters cleft condition left me extremely angered. In the documentary it was said that because Kiersten was born premature she was born with a cleft palate. This is grossly incorrect. Clefts form around 8 weeks of gestation. Not all cleft children need to be strapped in an upright position to sleep and feeding techniques can prevent the suctioning seen on the program as well as the use of specialized feeding equipment readily available. I have first hand knowledge of this because my daughter now 1 was born with a unilateral cleft lip and bilateral palate. I believe that the editors and researchers need to do a little more research before airing incorrect information. Since friends of mine had watched this episode I have been forced to correct false information about this condition. Granted Kiersten's condition may require this treatment however it was not mentioned, only said that this is because of her cleft.
