Bernie and Leepu live for modding cars, how about you?

Do you spend hours customising your own car? What keeps you going? What does your other half think? And what's the biggest thrill that you get out of it?

Hi Steve,

So glad to hear that, and we look forward to seeing the hotrod. Good luck with the garage too, doing all that work outside must make a difficult job even harder, so hats off to you!

Hi Steve
I had a good look around your car at the Atherstone show the other week. Very nice mate.

I watched the Martin Kemp 1st episode and was well chuffed to see myself on camera. My little Black MGB got into a nice shot as well.
Me and my Son had a great day chatting to Bernie and Leepu. I even took them for rides in the MG when it was time to visit the loo's Smiler

I had a talk with Martin Kemp (didnt realise he was such a petrol head)

Bernie was very supportive of my little car and everytime I went by in the fire up lane he kept shouting "Perry, get that F*****G 10 second run"
I didnt manage 10 seconds. But the old MG did hit 11.8 and saw off a Lambo as well.
It turns out the Chop Shop is just a few mins from my London office. I gave Leepu a card with my number on it in case they ever decided to have a go at fitting Nitrous to one of their projects. They told me to pop in for a cuppa sometime. But I'm not sure if I would get in the way? They do seem to get busy with the schedules. I might have a drive by soon just to say hello.

I'm really looking forward to next weeks conclusion. Cant wait to see it in paint.

Perry

You should pop over to one of the VW days at Santapod in 2009. Your car would go down a storm mate.
