*NEW SERIES* CHOP SHOP SERIES 2

Starts Monday 6 October at 10pm

Bangladesh’s answer to Enzo Ferrari, designer Leepu Awlia, and his cockney partner and master mechanic Bernie Fineman, re-open their garage on the Discovery Channel for a second series of hit show Chop Shop.

This time the panel beating pair are upping the ante as they undertake five special commissions for some of the best-known faces in British entertainment and sport, and the series kicks off with the crew making a ‘Gangster’ car for east end bad boy and former Spandau Ballet bassist Martin Kemp from a scrapped Saab 900 Turbo.

Leepu’s ready to up his game and claim his place as one of the world’s best car designers. With Bernie and the Chop Shop team’s help, can he do it?

By the way, couldn't the Discovery Channel's website developers create a proper website for them?

No offense to the creator of the current website as you see now on LondonChopShop.com — (Too late )...but the site looks horrible on all fronts associated with a proper website!

Bernie...Leepu if you're reading this, get your website fixed as soon as possible, because i'm getting inquiries from people wanting to get a car done by you guys.

And if it's possible in any way, get someone else to create the website for you, i hope DiscoveryChannel can help you guys out.

I have EU version indeed , but i do have +1 GTM (budapest,ljubljana,prague.etc), but that doesn't explain why there were no commercials at breaks. please i need to know i love this show.

Hi Stewox,

Sorry that you missed the start of the series. We've had commercials on-air but I guess you must have missed them.

We aren't repeating episode 1 in the near future but you can still catch repeats of episode 2. Take a look at the TV LISTINGS.

In the meantime, take a look at the new CHOP SHOP WEBSITE and see Martin Kemp's Gangster Car (from episodes 1 & 2) transformed from a banger to a blinger in the recently updated IMAGE GALLERY.

Thank you for your reply, I really love this show.

I will watch if there are commercials , but i seen only OCC, Deadliest catch, really big things, Smash lab and about 2 others , if there were they really appeared extremely rare.

But help me with this one, do some countries in EU have a more localized versions, or all the Europe has the UK version? The GMT +1 will tell which version I have. I might just ask my cable service provider.

Generally give more commercials like other popular shows, I'm sure this show will impress many other people.

I can't comment on your regionalised version of Discovery Channel and why they may not have advertised Chop Shop - I responded to your last post assuming that you were referring to the UK broadcast.

Still, glad that you got the answers you need regarding when to watch it and I hope you didn't miss the first show?

PS We met up with Bernie, Leepu and the guys at the Doncaster National Custom and Sports Car Show on Saturday for the reveal of Johnny Vegas' car. i argee the site is really poor, why is it that the show never repeat on the same day later at night like before? , or show lastweek ep before the new 1 like they did before? as its really hard to watch a whole ep on youtube as its poor , and i alway see adds to say you can watch missed ep online , but i cant find a link anywere.

I just noticed that what I saw in my local schedule was actually different car show(half-family business) the translation was like perfect pointing at chop shop but nope, there is no chop shop on discovery here ,there is no nothing.

I have the Europe versions of the shows surely, but here is different TV schedule, It's said on wikipedia that in my country popularity of discovery fell in 2005 so they removed the historical and science content and add a more mehanical and car stuff, anyways the program is also translated by SDI media.

Sati, episodes of Chop Shop are still repeated, just not on the same day as the new episode - Please take a look at the TV LISTINGS to find out when to catch up on the previous episode.

Online we're not able to show full episodes of the shows due to contractual agreements. Still, I keep the Chop Shop site updated with any clips I can lay my hands on, and we now have the reveals of Martin Kemp's Gangster Car and Lawrence Dallaglio's Muscle Car up there, along with loads of exclusive online content. Also, where are you seeing the ads saying that you can watch full eps online?

Regarding the londonchopshop.com website, it was commissioned by the guys behind Chop Shop and we at Discovery Channel have had nothing to do with the build of that site.

Stewox, sorry you're having trouble finding where to watch Chop Shop, I guess it must not be showing in Slovenia. I hope that the website can see you through until you get the opportunity to watch it.

Haha, that is rather obvious - Discovery Channel would never deliver such a hack job, the guys that created the LondonChopShop.com website still haven't fixed the contact functionality for Leepu and Bernie.

From what I've seen it's not that Leepu and Bernie couldn't use any business coming their way, as a business you want to receive inquiries from potential customers.

Common Discovery Channel - give those guys a proper website they deserve!

Quick question, as something that's been bugging me since I started watching this series... Who is the narrator and what else have they done? Because I recognise the voice but I don't know who it is or what else they've done. Thank you for all your help!

I've noticed the guys have a bit of trouble sometimes loading and unloading cars on the old bever tails & trailers you use.... this as your aware can cause damage which given the tight deadlines wouldn't be welcome. We at D&G cars are industry leaders in vehicle recovery and can cope with any vehicle in any situation, our recovery vehicles have fully demountable beds that lay on the floor which are designed for low vehicles with out the need for additional ramps or wood. Sorry to burst anyones bubble but the job lee & them done on the golf was great untill leapu got his hands on it.What an abortion of a thing it ended up should let lee & the boys do their own thing & sack leapu his work is atroshious i watched the forst part thought great a decent car for a change then was totally shocked by the 2nd one watched in total amazment for the worst.I cant think of anyone that like s this kind of stuff
